But, you should use your car to explore the other fine towns and villages, attractions and activities this wonderful coastline has to offer.

Where possible, it is advisable to make your booking in advance of travelling to help speed up the process. In choosing a car hire company, there are a number of considerations:

CONFIRM the excesses. Some car hire companies fees seem very cheap, but they have very high insurance excesses. Make sure you know what they are before agreeing to the hire. It may seem like a good deal to get a 50€ deal for a week, but if a simple bump causes you to have to pay 500€ excess?
DECIDE what your real needs are. Is it best to go for the cheapest, only to find you can’t fit your cases in. The cheapest is rarely the best.
ENSURE the car is safe and secure. Do you need child seats? You should take your own. You can never be certain of the condition of the child seats provided until you see them. It is too late then
