Teulada Train Station

Teulada Train Station provides easy and cheap access to the towns and villages up and down the Costa Blanca. Teulada train station is conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the centre of Teulada.

Every year, thousands of tourists use the train from Teulada to explore pretty towns and villages such as La Villajoyosa, Altea and Denia.

The narrow-gauge train works its way through the mountains and down to the coast.

It is possible to get a bus from Alicante Airport into Alicante town where the train station is situated. From there, it is a 90 minute relaxing journey along the coast to Teulada. A short 15-minute taxi ride or bus ride completes the trip Moraira.

Guadalest – The number one attraction on the Costa Blanca

Teulada Costa Blanca

Teulada Costa Blanca is a typical Spanish town on the Costa Blanca, Spain. Well known for its vineyards and grapes, used in the production of the award-winning Moscatel dessert wines, and it’s orange and almond trees, Teulada is one of the coastal towns that form part of the Marina Alta region.

Teulada is steeped in history: traces of remains, found in a cave on the coast, date back over 20,000 years.

The town of Teulada was founded in 1386 by 52 Christian families who settled here and built the town. For many years, Barbary pirates attacked Teulada and caused the residents to wall the town as a means of fortification. The lookout tower can still be seen on the nearby headland.

Teulada Costa Blanca is sheltered by a large mountain range which results in a moderate climate, with warm summers and mild winters. Teulada enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year and is an excellent base for the independent holidaymaker to use to explore the surrounding towns and villages of the Marina Alta region.
