Teulada Moraira
'The Jewel in the Costa Blanca Crown'Teulada Train Station
Most people holidaying on the Costa Blanca hire a car, however, this does not suit everyone. It is possible to get to and travel around the Costa Blanca without a hire car.
Teulada Train Station
Teulada Moraira has its own narrow-guage railways station that links Teulada Moraira with other towns up and down the Costa Blanca Coast.
Teulada Train Station is conveniently located just outside the centre of this traditional Spanish town, close to the taxi rank and bus stop that links Teulada to Moraira. The bus operates all day and costs just couple of euros for a return ticket to Moraira. It is also possible to stay on the bus through to Calpe.
The train operates up and down the Costa Blanca coast and stops at towns such as Alicante, El Campello, La Villajoyosa, Benidorm, Altea, Calpe, Benissa, Teulada Moraira, Gata de Gorgos, La Xara and Denia.
The train line is narrow-guage, therefore slower than other trains, however, the route along the Costa Blanca allows the traveller to take in the stunning views as it cuts its way through the stunning mountains and drops back down through the countryside to the coastal towns along the Costa Blanca. It is well worth the slightly longer travel time to take the opportunity to explore the Costa Blanca.
Many people chose to use the train to get from the airport to their Costa Blanca holiday rental.

Even those who do hire a car, would be advised to leave that car at the holiday rental and take the train north to Denia for the day, where it is possible to explore this stunning town, or take a boat trip to Ibiza, or go south to Altea, La Villajoyosa or Alicante.
It is also possible to use the train to get to Terra Mitica Theme Park.
Enjoy!
