El Portet Moraira is an impressive and shallow secluded beach resort in a sheltered bay, within walking distance of central Moraira. Both El Portet and Moraira are elegant resorts that have been spared of the over-development of many other towns along the Costa Blanca.
The beach at El Portet Moraira is one of the two main beaches in Teulada Moraira. Favored by familes, it has a gentle slope into the water, which is wonderfully warm, clean and beautiful. The sandy beach is ideal for children and is backed by a handful of beach bars that serve food and drink. Nestled above the beach is the 2 Michelin star restaurant: Le Dauphin Moraira.
There is a magnificent view over the beach of Calpe and to the Penon D’Ifach, known as Rock of Ifach Calpe or sometimes by its nickname: Calpe Rock, and inland there are pine-covered mountains. In the village of El Portet, there is a small supermarket and a couple of bars and restaurants.
