Costa Blanca has a number of resorts, towns and villages along its coast. Most are on the coast, with a few located no more than a few miles inland. Each has its own distinct character and provides the tourist with many exciting opportunities to experience the ‘Real Spain’.

Notable amongst the towns along the Costa Blanca are :

Denia is one of the larger towns along the coast with a very popular shopping centre, spread across a number of old, cobbled streets running in parallel down to the fantastic harbour and marina.

The town of Denia is overlooked by a castle located on on a rocky crag overlooking the city. Built in 12th century, it provides stunning views across the city and the harbour and on a clear dya, the Balearics can be seen. Day trips to Ibiza can be organised from the harbour.

Denia has two interesting museums that detail the history and culture of the city.

Javea is a popular resort amongst British tourists, with plenty of good quality meat and fish restaurants, a number of trendy bars and an excellent market.

Javea has a very wide, gentle bay and is sheltered at either end of the bay by two rocky headlands.

Javea is popular for people wishing to visit the magnificent Montgo Natural park. Montgo, standing at 753m, is a large mountian that can be seen from any town along the Costa Blanca.
