Terra Mitica Theme Park is located just outside of Benidorm on the Costa Blanca, Spain. With easy access from the motorways and main roads, Terra Mitica Theme Park is popular with families as it provides an excellent day out for those looking to get away from the beach for a day.
Terra Mitica Theme Park
The park has been divided into five zones based on the ancient civilisations of the Mediterranean, each one with its own distinct theme.
- Egypt - styled on ancient Egyptian culture and the pyramids
- Greece - styled on ancient Greek culture and its mythology
- Rome – styled on ancient Roman culture and history
- Iberia - styled on ancient Iberian culture and life
- The Islands – styled on ancient Mediterranean cultures and their history
Additionally, there are two other areas:
- Ocionia - A free access area with themed shops, branded restaurants, and pay-as-you-go attractions.
- Atalaya - An outdoor adventure and obstacle course with challenges for adults and children alike.
As well as the outdoor park, Terra Mítica has a number of major branded food chains and shops where Mum and Dad can escape for some retail therapy!
Terra Mitica has 25 main rides, each one suitable for different age groups and abilities:
- Red rides are for those with no fear!
- Orange rides are for those who don’t mind a bit of a fright!
- Green rides are for those who like to go round slowly!
- Blue rides are for children and scared Mums!
To assure Mums and Dads and to keep children safe and secure, Terra Mitica has made smaller replica’s of the adult rides for the children: less climb, less drop, less worry, but the same big smiles and screams!
Terra Mitica Theme Park - Rollercoaster
As well as the rides, Terra Mitica Theme Park has over 20 shows on offer, where visitors are transported through time and space to exciting destinations like Egypt, Greece and Rome. The authentic electric atmosphere is generated by over 300 actors in over 20 live shows.
Opening Dates and Times
Terra Mitica Theme Park is open from March to December, from 10am to 8pm.
Tickets are approximately 34€ for a single adult ticket costs. A two-day adult ticket is 48€. An afternoon adult ticket is 21€. 50% discounts apply for children aged 5-10 years old and seniors (60 years and older) and disabled people. Children aged 0–5 years enter for free.
