Gandia – Costa Blanca
Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Gandia – what? rewind. Gandia? Where’s that? I’ve never heard of Gandia.
Gandia is a large city on the east coast of Spain, less famous than its counterparts, but just as beguiling nonetheless. Gandia has not attracted much foreign tourism, much to the pleasure of the Spaniards who have the city all to themselves, but has the all the elements to provide the visitor with an authentic and distinctive experience.
With a thriving and bustling commercial centre, historical monuments and unique architecture, Gandia city centre is a working Spanish city, where the daily life of the citizens progresses without the impact of the international tourist industry.
Gandia beach, on the other hand, is a well-known and much-loved resort, frequented by Spaniards from all across the country, all keen to enjoy the miles and miles of soft, sandy beaches and the many traditional tapas bars and restaurants the area has to offer.
