Teulada is steeped in history: traces of remains, found in a cave on the coast, date back over 20,000 years.

The town of Teulada was founded in 1386 by 52 Christian families who settled here and built the town. For many years, Barbary pirates attacked Teulada and caused the residents to wall the town as a means of fortification. The lookout tower can still be seen on the nearby headland.

Teulada Costa Blanca is sheltered by a large mountain range which results in a moderate climate, with warm summers and mild winters. Teulada enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year and is an excellent base for the independent holidaymaker to use to explore the surrounding towns and villages of the Marina Alta region.

casita-teulada is a local travel company that has a number of holiday apartments to rent. Take a look at our pages to get more information on this charming town and these stunning apartments.
